considering the walk 3 ft wide, it will get subtracted on all the sides
the length now becomes = 37-3-3 = 31 ft
width = 52-3-3 = 46 ft

so, area including the walk = 37*52 sq ft =  1924 sq ft

and area of just the yard = 31*46 sq ft = 1426 sq ft

so, Area of the Path = 1924 - 1426 sq ft = 498 sq ft
