Pipeline
• Pipeline refers to a connection of pipes that contain valves and pumps and
other devices that help in control for the purpose of transporting liquids,
gases and slurries.

• In most cases, the pipes used are made of metals while in other instances,
they are made of concrete and rarely, they are made of plastics.

• The pipes that aid in transportation are welded together then laid
underground to help in transport.

Effects of pipeline on climate
Although the use of pipeline for the transportation of gases is environmentally
friendly, there are some disadvantages of using pipeline on the climate:

• The release of the natural gas such as methane from the pipes is a major
contributor of greenhouse effect which results to climatic change.

• Incase of gas leaks from the pipe, it may result to explosions caused by the
natural gas which may have a vast effect on the climate resulting to climate
change.

Approaches of adaptation to climate change
Human beings can adapt the following strategies to help adapt to climate
change.

By planting crops that will flourish with the new climate conditions.
By embracing new building techniques that are in line with the new climate.
By relocating to higher grounds.

By practicing agroforestry (Law, et.al, 2018).

Further strategies
• By restoring the degraded pastures through the use of manures and also by
planting grass to help reduce soil erosion.

• By advising the farmers to use manures instead of fertilizers.
• By advising the farmers to change the calendar of engaging in farming while
simultaneously, changing the pattern of farming.

River erosion
• River erosion refers to a natural process that results to the wearing away of
the river banks and river bed.

• The energy produced from the river results to river erosion.
• There are four types of river erosion. That is; attrition, abrasion, corrosion
and hydraulic action (BBC, 2021).

Indigenous wisdom, scientific wisdom of
plants
• This refers to the title of a book written by the author Robin Wall Kimmerer.
• The title explains how Kimmerer, supports all the native teachings that bear
in mind that all the species of plants and animals in the world today are the
oldest and will continue to be the best teachers ever.

• Indigenous wisdom and scientific wisdom of plants calls for everyone who is
interested in nature to protect the plants and animals and everything in the
environment.

Pipeline in Kampool

The picture shown is of steam rise in sycrude complex in Kampoo
lPipeline refers to a connection of pipes that contain valves and pumps and other devices that help in control for the purpose of transporting liquids, gases and slurries.

There are several pipeline connections in Kamloops

The tunnels and canals formed with the pipes made the primary cause of carbon emissions

The setting up of the pipelines systems have seen mass distraction of the environment through the tunnels setups.

In most cases, the pipes used are made of metals while in other instances, they are made of concrete and rarely, they are made of plastics.

The pipes that aid in transportation are welded together then laid underground to help in transport.

Effects of pipeline on the climate of Kampool
Although the use of pipeline for the transportation of gases is environmentally
friendly, there are some disadvantages of using pipeline on the climate:

• The release of the natural gas such as methane from the pipes is a major
contributor of greenhouse effects experienced in Kamloops.

• Some of the most severe impacts noted are flooding and the destruction of
archeological sites available in the lithosphere

• Incase of gas leaks from the pipe, it may result to explosions caused by the natural
gas which may have a vast effect on the climate resulting to climate change.

Approaches of adaptation to climate change
In Kamloops, there are several strategies the government and the local
authorities have taken including :
