Question description

Can you help me figure out a hypothesis for this experiment?

An individual's cardiovascular fitness can be measured by determining his/her pulse rate and respiration rate before and after a given time of aerobic exercise. Generally, individuals with greater cardiovascular fitness:

1. have lower pulse rates and respiration rates before exercise

2. have smaller increases in pulse rate during aerobic exercise

3. have their pulse rates return to normal more quickly than people who are less fit (recovery time)

The purpose of this lab is to measure pulse rate before and after aerobic exercise and recovery time as a means of measuring physical fitness, and to use those data to answer a question the class deems interesting.
