Solve the equation

(1/x-9) + (1/x-9) = x+8/x^2-81

(answer supposed to be in a whole number or a decimal if its the answer)

If the left side is (1/x-9) + (1/x+9) = (x+9+x-9)/ (x-9)(x+9)=2x/ (x^2-81)

Then 2x/ (x^2-81)=(x+8)/(x^2-81)

2x=x+8

x=8

If the left side is (1/x-9) + (1/x-9)=2/(x-9)

Then 2/(x-9)=(x+8)/(x^2-81)

2(x^2-81)=(x+8)(x-9)

2(x-9)(x+9)=(x+8)(x-9)

2(x+9)=x+8

2x+18=x+8

x=-10
