He does this by laying out the four reasons why Helen would leave Greece, then refutes each point, and by the end admonishes Helen of all blame. The four points presented are by the gods, by force, by persuasive speech (logos) and because of love. Notice how Gorgias uses different techniques from our readings of Gorgias to persuade his audience, borrowing from Socrates and Callicles.
