For this problem, there is probably some formulaic way to do it, but I'd probably just think about it logically:
If you are moving 100 miles in 10 hours, than all you have to do is divide by 10 to get the number that you would be traveling in one hour. 100/10 = 10, so you would be traveling 10 MPH. I hope that that made sense and helped! :)
