In the laboratory you dilute 4.37 mL of a concentrated 12.0 M hydrobromic acid solution to a total volume of 150 mL. What is the concentration of the dilute solution?

Molarity (M) = moles/volume (L)

4.37 mL HBr * 1 L HBr/1000 mL HBr * 12.0 mol HBr/1 L HBr = 0.05244 mol HBr

Concentration = Molarity (M)
150 mL = 0.150 L

M = 0.05244 mol HBr/0.150 L HBr
Concentration = Molarity = 0.350 M
