Human service profession deals with response and anticipation of the direction of human
needs and problems facing human beings. It offers guidelines and assistance to clients around the
community and the environment.
Example of Human Service Professional
EC is one of the best example for ethical meltdown. It was operating in the business of
wholesaling natural gas and electricity. The company earned its money as the intermediary without
knowing the nature of the business. EC did not put measures to maintain the transparency in
accounting which made its employees to take undue advantage and prepared such uncommon
balance sheet statements which were difficult to comprehend. But then again even when one of
the expert tried to explain their problem they did not bother. It is well stated that the ethical
behavior of the employees completely sank and proved to be the main reason behind the reduction
of the EC
Human service professional plays several roles in ensuring the client’s self-determination.
