Unfortunately, employment discrimination can still be found in all industries across the country. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 defined protected classes of people aiming to reduce discrimination by holding employer’s responsible. Under Title VII of the Act, an individual’s race, color, religion, sex, or national origin is considered a protected class. Age and pregnancy have also been federally recognized protected classes by subsequent legislation.Discuss if you believe these protected classes go far enough to prevent discrimination in the workplace. Regardless of its merit, the topic does bring up an interesting legal question when using eminent domain. Use the same organization as in previous week's projects. Last week, you completed the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) analysis for your organization. Hopefully, you have begun researching potential social causes, issues, or nonprofits for your company to adopt. As you consider your options, select three or four possible candidates (social causes) and evaluate whether the alternatives you come across fit with your company's mission, vision, and ethical framework, as well as any existing social responsibility efforts. Finally, select the new cause that will build upon your company's strengths. Will selecting this cause support the responsibility owed to your stockholders and stakeholders? Project OverviewIn this project, you will follow the steps to design training for a group of peers with whom you are familiar and who need training in a specific task or subject. For this chosen group of peers, you will design and implement your training and then evaluate the effectiveness of your design. There will be individual assignments along the way. The module they are due is noted in the time line below.It is time to complete and submit your final training.
