Introduction
Personal Development Plans (PDPs) are techniques that assist individuals in developing their
self-awareness and personality, developing their strengths and potential, increasing their
intellectual resources and employability, enhancing their quality of life, and assisting them in
achieving their goals (Newby, 2003). Both formal and informal practices aimed at assisting
others in their growth, as well as practices aimed at self-development, are included in the
definition. Finally, since personal development takes place within organizations, it refers to the
policies, programs, tools, approaches, and assessment processes that support individual human
development. As a health informatics professional who is constantly active in agency
accreditation and preparation for innovative projects, such as implementing a new information
system and working with health technologists and practitioners, it is important to establish a
personal development plan. In the short term, I hope to improve my interpersonal skills by
studying problem-solving techniques, communication skills, data processing and analysis,
extending my volunteer work at the Naqaa Foundation in Jeddah, and completing a master's
degree. My long-term goals, on the other hand, include organizing a group of volunteers in
Jeddah to encourage healthy living, beginning doctoral studies, publishing my master's thesis,
and developing a global blog focusing on charitable work in the health sectorI hope that all of
