Mr. Roger is a long distance truck driver who engages in heavy smoking on a daily
basis. He is 55 years old, and the client smokes a minimum of one packet of cigarettes per day,
and his eating habits entail eating fast foods swell as processed foods. Mr. Rodger does no
conduct any regular exercises although he takes random walks. He has a high BMI which
measures to 30. This BMI is an indication that Mr. Rodger is obese or is likely to be obese.
From the health profile of the client, I can note various health risk factors that the
customer faces. The risk factors are as a result of the age of the client, the BMI, the eating habits,
body fitness swell as the client’s family health history. From the report, it can be noted that the
patient risks developing obesity. The patient’s BMI records at 30. A BMI of 30 in the case of
men is for individuals who are obese (American Cancer Society, 2017). The prevalence of
obesity to the customer can raise various health risk like conducting heart diseases or cases such
as the type 2 diabetes. The issue of overweight can be attributed to the clients eating habits as he
frequently eats processed foods as well as fast foods which are high in cholesterol and sugars.
The high cholesterol levels in the patient can increase the chances of having blood clots in the
blood vessels which can bring around cases of blockage of the flow of the blood hence resulting
in heart attacks, pain or chest discomfort.
Poor body exercise for the client may lead to situations such as muscle atrophy. This
phenomenon refers to the situation whereby the muscles tend to waste off, causing cases of lean
muscles (Davis, 2013). Another risk of not exercising regularly has a cardiac decline. The reason
of having cardiac decline or arrest is because of the fatty deposits that might in the arteries or

vein that result from lack of exercise that burns fat deposits. The long period of smoking presents
the patient with high risk of developing lungs, throat, and nose and mouth cancer among other
types of cancer which are caused by tobacco smoking. The family of the client has a history of
heart diseases as well as high cholesterol. This situation makes Mr. Roger have high chances of
developing heart conditions
For Mr. Roger to improve his health and wellness, he can adopt measures such as
conducting the regular physical exercise. This activity will enhance his muscle as well as reduce
the accumulation of fats within the blood vessels which will help prevent fat from clotting in the
blood vessels. Another suggestion is that the patient can avoid taking fast foods, processed foods
as well smoking. This activity will reduce his weight and also lessen the risk of conducting heart
