The views of Kant and Mill differ in that Kant is a proponent of the deontological based
ethics while Mill is a supporter of the utilitarian based principles. According to Maricopa (2016),
Kant’s deontological based ethics are more compelling in that; they are more holistically based
and advocates for personal based autonomy. The core strength of deontological based ethics is
the recognition of the relevance of rationality as well as being both impartial and consistent.
However, the significant weakness is associated with Akrasia whereby there is weakness related
