There exists many business organization that deals with different disciplines that may be
related or totally different. In each and every sector, there is how people related to business or
business itself should go about day to day operations. Quite a number of standards have been
developed which clearly spells how various activities should be carried out within the
organization. In most occasions, it is the government of a given country or in some cases nongovernmental organization who develops rules and standards to guide the operation of various
business organizations. Not every person or an organization is honest with their activities and if
there is no any form of control then, some parties may take advantage of this and do what is not
in accordance with the laws or standards. However, there are some standards or moral behaviors
within the society that are not drafted down by any non-governmental organization or the
government of the country but they just apply within the business environment and are
recognized by many people. Despite the fact that there are well-organized rules and standards
that the business organization should adhere to when carrying out their activities, some
organizations try to ignore them. This is precisely referred to improper business and can be easily
defined as a collection of some practices within the business environment which entails
oppressive or unconscionable acts done by these business organizations against a group of
people. These may be done to the customers, their competitors and even the national
government. This paper majorly discusses on improper business practices. Improper Business
Practices influence the corporate industry to make the profit at the expense of the consumers as
well as the competitors (Vallabhaneni, 2008). The government is also affected by some of these
practices. However, as much as the business is benefitting from conducting the improper
practices, it is deemed to face adverse consequences in the long run.
