Suggestions for success: Sometimes starting is the hardest part- with an outline, you can start with what’s easiest and then add on other elements Go to the Writing Lab for help with citation, structure, and grammar; GRAMMARLY and other apps can also help! The rule of thumb is “new idea means new paragraph”- this helps keep your ideas organized and makes it easier to read Check out some online MLA citation guides e. If you are tempted to write “you can tell,” remember: I can’t. I have not spent hours looking at this work and I cannot see it through your eyes, interests, and experiences. Your vision is unique. Your job is to write a description that connects what you see with what you experience.
