A company with a large sales staff announces openings for three positions as regional managers.22 of the current salespersons apply, 12 men and 10 women.All three go to women.Make a simulation, 3 women being hired will happen about what% of the time.

The probability of getting are 10/22 *10/22*10/22

Every time you you choose one,   your chances on getting  a woman are 10/22 but for three in row you have to multiply like I did above

10/22=.45 

.45*.45*.45=.09

multiply by 100 to get percent .09*100=9% (approximately because I did the math by hand. So if you do the calculation with calculator to turn 10/22 into a decimal it should a little bit more than .45

But still that is the answer there is only about  a 9% chance. My guess would be that those girls were cute.
