Dear Lulu,
In this quarter, I know that my tasks will be heavy because I not only have two
online classes HRT 341 section one and FN305, but I also have a part-time job at least
four days a week. So, time management is a big challenge for me. I plan to arrange
my work days on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday because I understand that
each assignment will be due on every Wednesday and Friday at 11:59 PM, and we
need to complete nine assignments and one Course Feedback within five weeks.
Therefore, I will have enough time to complete my assignments on Wednesday and
Friday. After I glanced over the BlackBoard, I realized that each assignment has three
important parts that they are learning objective, assignment requirement, and relevant
videos. I understand that I will follow this three parts to learn and complete every
assignment. I believe I have the ability to complete my assignments while doing my
job well.
After I watched the videos of time-management tips and online classes (tips for
success), I learned three strategies to manage my time well. First, I will create a study
time, because I will need enough time to learn the topic of this course and watch
relevant videos. And then, I will create a clear deadline table. Like this, I will not
worry about the problem of assignments delay. Finally, I will create the weekly
calendar. To plan and arrange the clear study time and working hours in the calendar.
For example, on Wednesday, I will arrange study hours at 10:00 am-11:00 am. The
Break time is ten minutes. And then, I will arrange the writing assignment hours at
11:10 am- 12:30 pm. I will follow my timetable to complete my each task.
Dear .....,
In this quarter, I promise my major study time on Wednesday, and Friday. And,
my work days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Of course, apart from
studying and working, Sunday will become my vacation day, and I will not put myself
into a stressful environment everyday. I totally agree the viewpoint of Dave Crenshaw
(Author and founder of invaluable, inc,), he says, “Taking vacations on a regular basis
is important and healthy for your productivity. You need to have these breaks so that
you can be refreshed and have more energy.” I believe that everyone needs time to
relax and adjust ourselves. Thereby, getting a brand new self threw into work and
study.
