The known Universe or the Observable Universe is all that you see around you and also that you
are not aware of. I’m sure you must be aware that light travels at a finite speed (approx.
300,000,000 m/s). Also, you might be aware that nothing can move faster than the speed of light.
Now this might come as a shock, but during the initial stages of the universe (just after the big
bang), matter was expanding at a speed greater than the speed of light. But light still moved at that
very constant speed. Thus, light from the matter that was moving at speeds greater than the speed
of light wouldn’t reach us until it slows down to a speed lesser than the speed of light.
Taking Earth as the Centre, it is obvious that light from objects more than a certain radial distance
