The manufacturing sector has never placed a higher premium on efficiency than it does
today. It is particularly true in North America, where greater business expenses put many firms
at a competitive disadvantage compared to countries around the world, such as India, Europe,
Indonesia, and China. To increase production, minimize waste, and maintain a competitive edge
in the worldwide market, the majority of industrial firms have embraced lean thinking. Lean
thinking is a paradigm-shifting approach that tries to create a change in mindset on how to
arrange human activities to maximize social value and economic worthwhile minimizing waste.
The reason manufacturing organizations prioritize lean thinking is that it forces top management
to rethink their roles (Improte & Vincenza, 2018).
Lean thinking stresses the importance of creating value for clients. Lean's primary tenet is
to assist organizations in determining what is important to their consumers and then optimizing
their value creation processes by eliminating waste and perfecting the whole operation so that
service flows seamlessly.
Lean thinking enables value creation via built-in quality: The manager recognizes that
client satisfaction is critical and is included in every stage of the firm's operation, from the
incorporation of pleasing characteristics through the proper incorporation of quality at each
manufacturing step.
Lean thinking constantly flows by minimizing batch sizes. The concept is that once a task
is established in a certain manner, the manager should get on with it and swiftly produce as many
tasks and projects as possible to keep unit costs low. However, lean thinking approaches this
differently, aiming to streamline the working process to meet actual demand today, not fictitious
