Overview:
According to the Project Management Institute teachings and ideas, any project success is
usually determined by considering various controls. The success of any Project will, therefore,
depends on the accomplishment of the triple constraints that includes: time, cost and scope/quality.
According to an analysis conducted by the Projectize Group in 2008-2009, other factors have a
bigger contribution to the success of a project. These factors include Stakeholder and customer
satisfaction, meeting business case objectives, end-user adoption, quality of delivery, meeting
governance criteria and benefits realization (Project Management Institute, 2008). Despite theses,
there are main factors that are more related to project outputs which are time, cost and scope. Other
factors are related to business outcomes despite having a significant impact on the success of
projects.
