Will 0.10 M aqueous solutions of the following salts be acidic , basic or neutral?
ammonium acetate (NH4C2H3O2),
ammonium cyanide (NH4CN) ,
sodium phosphate (Na3PO4) ,
ammonium sulfite ((NH4)2SO3) , sodium monohydrogen citrate (Na2HC6H5O7)
1 - acidic
2 - slightly basic. HCN is weaker than NH4OH which are the two products. by weaker i mean less dissociation in water into its ions.
5 - neutral
