It is to keep the business and reputation of the company current and updated. If a company cannot reach different customers, or even so their old customers, then their company will fail in sales and will cease in existence. Yet, if they learn their niche and expand their horizons to better reach existing or new customers then their is room to grow and thus proving successful. An example could be Gap, the clientele are modern casual wear buying folks so they begin advertising with: Baby Gap.
