Question 1
The proposal involves two types of documentation for the ordering system at Domino’s
Pizza, namely FAQs and online documentation. The FAQ will help users do a quick scan in case
of errors made in the system, while online users will get online documentation that they can
download anytime. FAQs will give users quick answers to any questions they may experience in
the system. Documentation is the illustration part of the system in writing and shows its parts and
work. Online the system users can get clues of the way it operates.
Question 2
The testing of the system has to be done to ensure that the ordering system suits the needs
of the users. The testing that will be done are
a. Load testing- the system is projected to handle a large number of customers therefore,
its capacity to handle consumers should be tested. The testing will happen by giving it
a vast number of users to handle at a given time and see how it handles the load, and
the experiences of the users will be bases for rectification.
b. Usability test- for a system to be successful, the users must be able to use it with ease.
Testing how users can navigate the system and what hiccups for the interaction. The
speed at which users can find the things they want on the system will be tested here.
The outcome of the test from the users and recommendations will be used to upgrade
the system.
c. Software and hardware testing- The ordering system will run over varied hardware and
software, critical compatibility. Testing to see if they work is vital.

d. Regression testing- This testing concentrates on looking for bugs as the system
continue to be updated.
The time that will be needed for testing is the exact time that the system will be developed because
they happen concurrently.
Question 3
The system changeover that will be engaged in the parallel approach. The parallel
approach is suitable for the kind of business in question. Domino's pizza ordering system will run
parallel with the old one for a given period. This is supposed to help the users adjust to the change
and also gain faith in the new system's efficiency and effectiveness, after which the old system can
be terminated. The benefit of this approach is that the old scheme can act as a backup in case some
faults happen in the new system. During this time, the organization can reverse the decision if they
feel that the objectives of implementing the new project have not been met.
Question 4
a. Videoconferencing- the system can be introduced and taught to employees who are not
close. Different locations of trainers and trainees can work perfectly without any of them
traveling, and trainees get answers to any questions they may have.
b. Web-based training- computer-based modules for training are put on the web in this
method. Employees can get training on Domino's intranet. The advantage is that all
employees will use the same program and have standardized training materials. It is also a
good way for recordkeeping as it keeps track of its employees’ training.

Domino's Pizza should embrace the maintenance type known as preventive for better
service delivery. This method is suitable as it looks out for vulnerabilities in the system and
maintains a high level of service in the system. Preventive maintenance helps in the long run
prevention of deterioration of the system. This method helps in scalability, it is easily
