At your first staff meeting the senior pastor delegates the responsibility of developing a lay counseling ministry to you because the church offers no counseling at this time. The church is a multi-ethnic, multigenerational, nondenominational church where 500 people attend each week. The church is experiencing large numeric growth and counseling needs have skyrocketed recently.
