Response 1 to cassandra I have learned a lot through out this course, and will be taking a lot from this course with me to my other courses. The biggest part of this course that I will be taking with me from this course is, the information I have learned about how each person goes through stages of development from a baby all the way to a senior. I never realized that there were that many different stages each and everyone of us goes through, and it was interesting to learn all the different developments that we go through growing up. I have enjoyed this course, and will take every thing I have learned in this eight weeks along with me through out the rest of my college courses. The courses that I will be taking next are "Contemporary Health", and "Foundations of Addictions", and I cannot wait to start my next courses, which I believe these courses are going to be interesting to take and fun at the same time. The material I learned from this course will help me in my future studies because, I'm going to SNHU to get my BA degree in Psychology and Addiction Studies to become a Addiction Counselor, and learning information about development and different psychological disorders will help me to understand why a person has become addicted to drugs or alcohol. For instance, if someone how has PTSD, Depression and instead of going to seek treatment for these psychology disorders this person might medicate themselves with drugs, which would lead to addiction. Also, a person who was born to a mother abusing drugs, will give them a high chance of becoming addicted themselves if they ever try drugs or alcohol. I learned a lot of this information in this course, and knowing this information will help me to have a better understanding on how to treat each of my patients differently. I know I will learn a lot more through out my courses here at SNHU that will add to the information I will be bringing to my career once I graduate college. I want to thank our instructor, and all my classmates for a great course, and good luck with your future courses. Cassandra Response 2 to nicole There were many interesting subjects that we studied throughout the course but I think the one that has stuck with me the most is the grieving and dying section. I work in the medical field so dealing with death is a natural thing for me and I see how most people who work in the medical field almost seem desensitized to people who are dying, not because we don't care but I think we understand the process. At the same time this past week I have had a death in my family as whereas I understood that he had Parkinson's disease and early onset dementia, doesn't mean that it was as easy as being at work dealing with patients. I think being closer to the situation definitely has an affect on the outlook of all things considered about the life of a person, who he left behind, memories and filling voids. There are some things I just didn't know such as how euthanasia works or that there were two types. I think apart of me feels like yes most definitely if there is a terminally I'll patient who has no chance for recovery, suffering day to day than yes that is the way. Does it make it right? Whose decision is it really to die. Another thing I learned was that people can be brain dead and still have a heart beat and breathe on their on depending on the brain level capacity. I was not aware. Lastly, I learned things that I did not know about living wills and advanced directives. I think it is important information to know the difference and have these things in place so that your rights will be protected and that your family doesn't have to wonder what you would want at the end of your life. My next course is Sociology, I'm not really sure how I feel about sociology. I just can't seem to wrap my head around the course. To me it's very wordy and takes the long way around to explain things. Afterward I have another psychology course which I am very excited. I love psychology. I am so interested and finding out how people think and how science comes into place with the different types of psychological disorders. I think what I have learned from this course will help me to better understand people as I continue to work in the field of psychology and the different aspects of it as I advance forward and pursue my degree in psychology.

Course Reflection
Throughout this course, it has been interesting to learn about the way humans develop.
Therefore, the element that appeared to be the most fascinating to me was the stages that people
undergo when developing. These stages elaborate how individuals grow right from their childhood
up to their grown up stage. The physical alterations have been consistent when people are growing
whereas the behavioral features have been varying in accordance with each particular person
