Chairperson and Chief Executive Officer of PepsiCo, which is one of the largest food and
beverage companies in the world. Indra was born on 28th October 1955 in Chennai, India. This
leader is very remarkable and is really worth studying because women in positions of power are
quite influential and show a positive change towards the empowerment of woman and girls
around the world. She is also constantly ranked among the top 100 most powerful women in the
world.
Indra is affiliated to several companies. She first worked with Tootal, which is a British
Textile company. The company had holdings in India where she worked. After Tootal, she
joined company known as Johnson & Johnson as product manager( Walker & Hefner 2015) She
did an incredible job at this company by marketing sanitary towels directly to girls and female
