Description
Essay must be at least 1500 words . Use attached template and follow same format and instructions (replace the paragraphs of instruction with your paragraphs addressing each section). Also note that the template is organised into the specific sections you are required to write about in your essay. Please leave all centred sub-headings in the essay, and do not change the wording of them -- they are important for organizing your essay and facilitating grading by the rubric.
Please write only in your own words. You are encouraged to read various sources to learn more about your information system, or about information systems in general, but due to the brief length of the essay, you are discouraged from directly quoting from your sources. Instead, explain what you learned from your research and what you know from your own experience with the system, in your own words. List the references you consulted in your research at the bottom of your essay in APA format (minimum of 3 references).
In Analysis Essay #1, you will address the following: 1) introduction to your information system, 2) characteristics of the users of the information system, 3) server-side and client-side hardware and software of the system, 4) description of the features/functions of your information system, including the data inputs and information outputs associated with each feature and how each feature is used within your organization, and 5) conclusion. Specific details about what to include in each section can be found in the attached template.

Information system
Introduction
The information system comprises a variety of information technologies, for instance,
computers, databases, communication systems, mobile devices, the internet, etc. These
information and technology accessories perform particular functions and interact with and
enlighten carious players in different organizations or social frameworks. Therefore, the general
interest of the information system is all the aspects of the development, application, deployment,
use, and impact of information systems in the organizations on the community at large.
Nevertheless, the concern of IS is not primarily concerned with the practical and computational
aspects of information technology. It should be noted that the biggest problem of IS is how the
particular technology is appropriated and instantiated to enable the realization of an information
system that satisfies various players like organizations, people, or groups, their information
needs, requirements concerning particular goals and practices.
Furthermore, while the informational system is widely recognized in the community, the
word information system, which is the core foundation in the information system field, is in most
cases is rarely defined or examined and taken for granted. The inadequacy in the conceptual
involvement with information system initiated calls to the IS society to improve its engagement
with fundamental concepts that are primary to its field and study. Furthermore, the lack of
employment is a problem that can result in the fuzzy and vague application of the ideals of the
IS. Moreover, this can hinder devising a clear identification of the field of information systems.
Many people have always substituted information systems for information technology or
computer system whenever IS researchers or professionals use the term. These assumptions
undermine the significance of human, social, and organizational aspects.

Additionally, when all these concerns are considered, the definition of the operating system
becomes a challenge to the information system field. So it could appear to many that what an
information system is, is not properly established. Alternatively, many people are studying
information systems from an assortment of perspectives, and therefore it will not come as a
surprise if it gives a variety of definitions. Consequently, it will be a problem for society to know
about information systems without understanding them. The main features of an information
system include reliability, timely, relevancy, accuracy, sufficiency, comparability unambiguity,
among other things.
Characteristics of the Users of the System
Information system has become a very integral part of the success of many business
enterprises and organizations. When it comes to business management, it is always necessary for
a manager to have a basic understanding and knowledge of the information system. It is,
therefore, essential for a manager to understand the characteristics of the operating system to
manage a business effectively. One key aspect of the operating system is the system approach.
Under this, a manager should use a step-to-step approach to the research of the system. First, the
system should align with the function it was constituted (Turetken, Ondracek, & IJsselsteijn,
2019). It, therefore, involves taking a wider view of subsystems to function within an
organization. Secondly, the operating system operates on a management-oriented basis, and
thereby a top-notch is required in designing the information system. When managers imply this,
it will help them meet the business's goals. Finally, it means that it will help a manager complete
his decision.
Additionally, the design of the information system should be compliant with the
information needed by a manager of a business enterprise. It should be able to take care of the

specific needs of managers in an organization. Moreover, the information system should also be
future-oriented in that its design should be made for future references and purposes. The
information system should not be restricted only to providing information about the past but also
the future (Abubakar, Abubakar, & Abubakar,2018). Yet another characteristic of the
information system is that it should be integrated into that it should be a combination of a variety
of sub-components to give relevant information that can be used in providing a sound decision.
In addition, it should also have a long-term plan since it involves a logical plan ...
