1. The article "Does America Have A Caste System?" can most closely be related to caste
society and social stratification. A caste society is a society in which there are built in barriers
to people in one class being able to move up or down the social classes. It effectively eliminates
all potential self-growth and keeps people in the same position as their parents and
grandparents. This can be seen in some societies today, the largest of which is probably India. I
don't think that America has a caste system, as there is the possibility of being born in the lowest
rung of society and working your way up to the top, all in one lifetime. There is many nations
