The scientific method allows us to pose questions, test questions, and analyze results. Through observation and research we begin to understand the world around us. This paper will examine a case study conducted by Olive et al. on Applied Behaviour Analysis and test whether it followed scientific methods guidelines. Three Years of Intensive Applied Behaviour Analysis research explores people's behavioral figures with an autism spectrum disarray. The researchers treat the case of an autistic child to study the development of behavioral principles in people living with autism disorder and how a unique schooling system for such people shapes their social skills. The research has clearly defined its purpose, exploring how the sample of the principle of behavior portrays itself in children with autism (Healy et al., 2008). Going by numerous citations in the case study, it is evidence that the researcher conducted thorough background research on their topic of study. The research has taken a no-difference hypothesis. The researcher expects a specific behavioral pattern in autistic children, and from the results, the designs seem to alliteration with the expectations. The research took a case study outlook. It was a trial whether the deportment pattern of the autistic child who was the sole participant in the study changed when grasped through the Comprehensive Application of Behaviour Analysis to Schooling (CABAS). The research gives a comprehensive data analysis and clearly outlines the progress after being taken through the CABAS system. The research provides a precise summary of how the hypothesis interplays with the study results. All these features show that the investigation followed the fundamentals of the scientific research methods. The research took an observational study type format because the researchers were observing the behavior patterns of the autistic child. 3 2nd Part Attitude is a crucial principle in behavioral psychology. It refers to an overall perspective towards groups, objects, and other people in an individual's social world (Marcinkowski & Reid, 2019). Attitudes exhibit a significant interaction with principles of behavior. The three structures of attitudes portray a crucial relationship with an individual's actions. They include cognitive, affective, and behavioral components. The mental part entails an individual's beliefs or insight about attitude factor—intuitive details emphasize an individual's emotions and feelings towards an attitude object. The behavioral component entails the impact of attitude on our behaviors. The mentioned components of attitude have a significant relationship with one's cognition which is primary in shaping an individual's actions. The processes related to awareness include problem solving, knowledge, remembrances, judging characteristics, and thought. All these processes play a crucial role in developing one's behavior (Minson & Dorison 2021). This analysis about attitude proves that it is a very vital tenet in the study of behavioral psychology. A scientific method provides a researcher with a procedural approach toward the topic of study, reassuring the work from identifying a question of study to a field experiment. With scientific methods, one can choose a research design, strategy, approach, processes, and data analysis practice that suits the topic of study. With that kind of approach in research, it is easier to put together an adequate hypothesis and conduct a practical test on the theory than without a scientific method. A method also makes it possible to map limitations that face the researcher during the study, thus eluding them in future studies. 4 References Healy, O., O'Connor, J., Leader, G., & Kenny, N. 1. Introduction
The scientific research method has always become one of the most effective strategies
that have been used in testing the relevancy, credibility, and clarity of the research conducted.
Within the following paper, I shall be using the scientific research method to analyze a research
study conducted by Olive et al. It is a research case study that tries to analyze behavioral figures
of people with autism spectrum disarray. The following research study has attempted to
investigate the development of behavioral people among people living with autism disorder.
These researchers have also evaluated how the schooling system has helped autistic people mold
their social skills.
2. Was the Scientific method followed? How?
Yes, the researchers of the given research study have followed the necessary steps
