Compare and contrast the Spanish American War and the American participation in
World War I and World War II. Who were the main players in each event and how did
they make the case for or against the war? How did industrialization fit in these wars?
What was the impact of each war both at home (e.g. impact on women, minorities, and
immigrants) and abroad (on American position in the world)?
The Spanish American civil war and the participation of America in both WWI and
WWII took place because the two nations were fighting for freedom and independence.
However, the two wars had different consequences that affected the nations in various ways.
However, despite the differences, the WWI led to political changes in Europe and development
of new weapons that could be used in future in case of other wars (James, 2009). Also, the WWI
led to changes in the social landscape of America. The First World War and the Second World
