please we can compute the volume occupied by the methanol, as follows:

V = (71.5/32 * 0.08206 * 300.15) /( 140/760) = 323.82 liters

since T = 27+273.15 = 300.15 °K, and P = 140/760 = 0.184 atm

so the pressure exerted by the clucose is:

P = (17/180 * 0.08206*300.15) / 323.82 *760 = 5.46 mm of Hg

and the total pressure by the Dalton's Law, is:

140+5.46 = 145.46 mm of Hg
