Differences between Perpetuities and Annuities
Annuities and Perpetuities investments pay money to an individual on a regular basis
(Abor, 2017). Annuities are flexible and can bring money to you over a period of time of time that
you select or in one lump amount. Perpetuity is rigid because it will deliver the same payment to
your mailbox for the rest of your life in the full force. The primary examples of perpetuities are
fixed coupon payments on perpetually invested amounts of money. Examples of annuities are
fixed bonds to a savings account, regular home loan payments, monthly insurance expenses as
well as pension payments.
