The Essential Theories needed for the Organization
Organizational change is essential activity particularly when the organization is stuck to
obsolete conventional technologies. Business processes determine the viability of the
organization; hence in the situation where businesses processes are not benefiting, it is important
for the management to consider applying some change strategies to boost the business
productivity. Changes in business can be attained by considering some special change theories
that will act as the guidelines or frameworks during the change. Managers should always
understand the key causes of the problems in the business based on the collected data. Change
management can be applied to help the company transform both the employees who have been in
the business for long and the new individuals and re-direct the resources utilization, business
processes, and budget allocation; hence reshaping the company into the standard condition
(Staffan and Olsson).
Application of change theories during restructuring process can bring efficiency because they
are based on proven guidelines. As a Chief Executive Officer, it is my duty to make a strategic
plan regarding the change process. Thus I will consider the essence of theories of the legends
such as Kurt Lewin. Since the company is financially stable and if failing to meet the current
standards, it will be important to consider evaluating the status quo among the loyal employees
because, in the business characterized by status quo, there is less productivity regardless of
