The paper should demonstrate your knowledge of the change process through a comprehensive analysis and discussion of the following aspects of organizational change. Your paper must include:
- An identification and description of a professional change initiative personally experienced or researched.
- A discussion of the change initiative as seen through the eyes of the leader and the follower.
- A discussion of the successes and failures experienced during the change event.
- An analysis of the concepts and theories used to facilitate the change process.
- An evaluation of the impact of the change upon the organization.
- A discussion on the sustainability of the change effort.
You must incorporate concepts and theories relating to the change process as they apply to each section of the paper.
Writing the Final Paper
The Final Paper:
- Must be eight to ten double-spaced pages in length (excluding the title and reference pages), and formatted according to APA style as outlined in the Ashford Writing Center.

should be embraced and handled in a suitable manner which ensures that the commercial
undertakings of the entity are not interrupted (Kuipers, et al., 2014). This is because it would
impact the performance of the business in a significant way which could lead to huge losses.
Change is a conversant development with the ability to impact organizations without consideration
of their industry, size, or age. Change is constantly occurring around the globe hence requiring
companies to familiarize themselves and undertake measures that incorporate these changes.
Those corporations with the ability to embrace and deal with change have a higher likelihood of
becoming prosperous compared to the ones that lack this ability. The ability to cope with change
is essential since numerous corporation has collapsed due to the significant changes they
encountered but lacked the capacity to deal with them.
The way companies cope with change normally relies on the kind of business, the kind of
change, as well as the people who are engaged in the change (Anderson, 2016). A necessary
element of the process of change depends on the extent individuals are willing to compromise in
order to comprehend the process. In order to comprehend the concept of organizational change,
we will focus on Kurt Lewin Model which was created in the 1940s which are still applicable in

The Professional Change Initiative
In the past, I established that I had challenges in communicating which affected the ability
to coordinate teams. This is due to the element of being too shy and concerned about pleasing
everyone in the organization (Hayes, 2014). I desired to have my rank in the company elevated
hence the need to change my nature. I understood that accomplishing my ambitions significantly
relied on the ability to enhance the capabilities of communicating properly and coordinating teams.
This is because successful leaders are the ones who make their teams achieve their targets and
coordinate with others. I was only a member of the store team and desired to have my position
elevated and become the store manager. Therefore, a change in my ability to communicate and
facilitate teamwork was necessary for my career.
I decided to enroll in a training program whereby I would be tutored on the way to enhance
my communication abilities. This was, however, challenging to me since I was required to
coordinate my daily undertakings in the company with my daily training sessions in an institute
that neighbors the company. I was required to arrive at work early, attend my shift, and also attend
classes during break sessions. I was also at times required to consume some of my shift hours in
these classes with the ambition of enhancing my abilities to qualify for a promotion. This hence
affected most of my colleagues in the store's department as their workload increased due to my
