You and 9 friends run a one mile race. if you have agreed on awards for the top five runnersĖ how many possible ways can the runners place? (Assume there are ties)

there are 10 runners. There are five awards from first to fifth. If ties are possible, then arrangement is like repetition.

Theoretically there will be  105  = 100,000 is the total number of ways. 

(If ties are not possible, then 10*9*8*7*6=30,240 ways)
