Food and Beverage management plays a key role in the overall food service operation. To that I agree
that a Food and Beverage Manager can be more focused on the budget than their employees. These
managers are more interested in the budget than their employees. This affects the operations of the
restaurant or food service. Most of these managers are private owners who are more interested in their
finances than the welfare of their employees. They ensure the restaurant is up to date with its stocks for
operation but the welfare of the employees and is not given very much attention. To everything there
are pros and cons and these when weighed will determine the success of the management. An example
of a pro is that a manager who is focus on the finances ensures that, the budget set is met and that no
loss in incurred. All goods are frequently stocked as the manager ensures that the finances are utilized
