There are several organizations that provide accreditation standards as well as guidance on the content and format of the health record. Select two of the following organizations and prepare a report on the importance of the organization: The Joint Commission, National Committee for Quality Assurance, Community Health Accreditation Program, Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Healthcare, American Health Information Management Association, and Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity.
