In many cases, when there is a major disaster such as 9/11, local and federal agencies are required to work together. With protocol being so different between agencies, FEMA has developed the National Incident Management System. This provides law enforcement at all levels training and education so they can all work together and have a plan in advance.

  1. Go to the FEMA website
  2. Take the "Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS 100)"
  3. Complete the entire exam and fill in the information at the end.
  4. Take a Screenshot of documentation of taking the test.*
  5. You will be emailed a certificate from FEMA demonstrating your successful passing of the test.
  6. Email the certificate to your instructor.
