Overview of Healthcare system practice guideline
Health guidelines are statements developed that recommend the best practices in
specific clinical areas. The health center is expected to give instructions to the health
practitioners that highly look into the code of ethics of different profession in the health
sector. The guidelines are to accomplish the following objectives. The first objective for
setting guidelines is to deliver health effectively to the patients based on the current evidence.
Patients present what they feel that requires the health practitioner to use their knowledge to
diagnosis the patient effectively. Also, there is research that is done related to health that
clinical officers need to study and consider in their day to day activities (Woolf et al. 2014).
The second objective is to meet the standard excellently. Every patient deserves quality
services from health sectors since it a life-saving sector. The life of a patient is the first
consideration that why high standards services are supposed to be provided in the health
center. High standards lead to innovation and invention in the health sector where people can
give their ideas to improve care.
The guidelines are frequently developed, and this brings significant variations
particularly in the nursing area. Implementation of the guidelines is determined by how the
clinical guidelines are introduced. An effective and efficient way of introducing the
guidelines will lead to full implementation. The best way to introduce the health care practice
guidelines is to use a systematic process to develop evidence based guidelines. This means
that the guidelines are supposed to be doable and in line with different professionals working
in the health sector. The guidelines provide evidence on what work need to be done in
different health interventions. Engaging the appropriate stakeholders who include the medical
practitioners and their unions as well as their employers is another way that makes the
guideline efficient and implemented (Grol & Grimshaw, 2013).

effective and in line with the objectives of health care sectors. The readiness to use the
clinical practice guidelines is another consideration. After the environmental assessment is
done and the environment shows that there is a readiness to implement the guidelines, proper
and workable strategies are used and planning to implementation is started. The planning
process considers all the resources that will be used in the implementation process and after.
There are guidelines set by the ministry of health that require their health care
providers to perform as per the national board.
How different professionals in the healthcare system are held to the guideline
The evidence based guidelines are supposed to give directions to all health workers
across the United States. In general, all the guidelines are set to support doctors in their
challenging tasks of their different professions and to enable them to give professional
judgment. It also helps different boards in the medical field to set standards and maintain the
required standards in their workplace (Bodenheimer, Wagner & Grumbach, 2014). Failure to
follow the guidelines will lead to clear explanation the alternative take of action to the board
and the responsible hospital boards. Also, regular failure to following the standards can lead
to deregistration as health provider in the country.
In most cases, all doctors from different professions have their own beliefs and

that patients' rights are considered for their interest. Therefore these guidelines hold the
doctors to follow the guidelines other than what they believe.
Among the nurses the health care, there are two types of nurses that are DNP nurses
and Ph.D. nurses. The Ph.D. nurses carry out the research and come up with new guidelines
that help the DNP to improve their services as well as the patients' life. The two levels of
nurses have different type knowledge since they involve in different activities. The Ph.D.
nurses are the developers of the guidelines and consider the interest of the patients with the
help of other research sectors to come up with those guidelines. Therefore, the Doctorate
Nurse Practitioners have to follow the guidelines that are presented to them by Ph.D. nurses
(Melnyk, & Fineout-Overholt, 2013)
In pharmacist profession, they rely on the guidelines given to them by the Ministry of
health in the United States to determine the quantity of medicine that should be taken by the
patients. Poor instruction to the patients can lead to more health problem and makes the
pharmacist answerable under the law and to the board.
Technicians that are entrusted to give laboratory test for the patients and to give
evidence on different infections are also held by health guidelines. Technicians are part of
enhancing patient health improvements, and they have to provide proof of the test to confirm
the right treatment for the patients (Ferlie & Shortell, 2014). Through the evidence presented
it can also be used to further the research on particular illness and the proper cure found. The
evidence should be backed up by different models used by technicians thus they have to
follow the guidelines in the medical fields.

Research used by the system to adopt the guideline
In the past years, patients' health has focused on data analyses as a way to identify
patients' health safety measures. Therefore demonstration to new practice will lead to
improved quality of the health care particularly for nurses since they are the professionals that
have extended contact hours with the patients. The first way to consider an adoption of new
practices is to consider the models that the new guidelines are based and also whether the
strategies are safer compared to the already existing ones (Ferlie, & Shortell, 2014). It is hard
to implement evidence-based safety practices and requires the strategies that address the
complexity of systems, the involved practitioners the senior leaders and more importantly
changing the health care culture into evidence based safety practice environments.

expected to critic the model, create evidence, implement the evidence and give a report on its
evaluation of patients' care impact on the implementation of the guidelines. If the practices
evaluation shows that it is going to improve the health care services, then the researcher
provide performance consideration and how they are supposed to be implemented. Various
