Leadership is the way individuals are influenced towards achieving certain roles and responsibilities. The leadership styles present in the organization includes autocratic leadership and transformational leadership. In autocratic leadership, autocratic leaders have absolute power over their subordinates. The subordinates are given little opportunity to have their won views expressed. The disadvantage with this kind of leadership style is that there is always resentment from the stakeholders. Employee turnover may also increase. The leadership style relies on punishment and use of threats to influence the workforce. Autocratic leadership is essential where work is an element of integration with several departments. Sometimes, employees may not respond to the other leadership styles resulting to the use o autocratic leadership. Autocratic leadership in Apple Company was initiated by Steve Jobs. He made decisions on behalf of the company with little or no consultation at all. The decisions made were quick in order to respond to the dynamic changes in the environment of the business. The environmental changes of the business required rapid decisions like the issue of competition from Microsoft. The leadership style seemed efficient. The leader demonstrated innovation and creativity that led to the creation of iPod and I Phones. The speedy decisions of the Steve Jobs resulted to the organization catching up with the competitor, Microsoft. The autocratic leadership leads to autocratic leaders. They permit quick decisions in the business set up. There is also quick implementation of plans which is core to the satisfaction of leaders.

Transformational leadership was also utilized by the Apple Company. It is where the leader motivates individuals towards the achievement of the goals and objectives of the organization in line with the mission and vision. In line with transformational leadership, it results charismatic leaders. An example was Steve Jobs who possesses a brawny enthusiasm for creativity and inspiration. He was able to motivate the involved stakeholders in the attainment of efficiency and effectiveness in the organization. The success of Apple Company was aided by the persuasiveness of the charismatic leader. Thought leaders are also present in Apple Company. They strap up the power of ideas to the stakeholders and aid in the actualization of change. Stakeholders are helped in the envisioning of new possibilities. Thought leaders are capable of competing in the market place.
