Research involves some key considerations which provide a better environment where it is

much easy to understand key underlying issues that are being considered in a given research

environment. Therefore, in effectively analyzing a research problem, it is important to understand

that the outcomes are obtained and described in the most significant way to allow for better

interpretation. Descriptive statistics, therefore, plays a crucial role in ensuring that a given research

problem is effectively visualized and provide a better environment where the problem can be

understood from an actual perspective. There are some descriptive statistical methods that can be

effectively used to provide a better environment where the research problem can be effectively

understood.

Descriptive statistics in will incorporate qualitative data. Qualitative research is a

significant statistical research technique that is more concerned with developing explanations of

social phenomena and has a non-positivist perspective. Thus, the emphasis of the qualitative

technique is more on general characteristics of certain phenomena that are being considered by the

researcher. Qualitative research provides a significant visual understanding of major

characteristics that are considered in a given study, and thus it provides a better environment where

quantitative research can be developed effectively and ensure that the interpretations that are made

from quantitative research make sense when compared to the qualitative interpretation made

(Neuman, 2016).

The descriptive analysis, therefore, will provide a better environment where key underlying

aspects regarding the problem within the Auto Springs manufacturing firm. The descriptive

Thus, the main focusing on the central tendency of measures to understand the trend of the research

outcome will do the analysis of descriptive data. Thus, maximum attention will be given to the

mean and median of these distributions. The qualitative data will be presented in the form of graphs

and tables for easy interpretation. The graphs will provide significant information involving the

trend since it is much easier to understand the distribution (Neuman, 2016).

The application of the qualitative research depends on what the researcher aims at

identifying although it is applied in most cases since it has a very significantly important visual

output regarding different variables it can also be applied in situations where a researcher seeks to

understand the perspective of the people they are studying.

Inferential statistics focuses on understanding about a given hypothesized understanding

about the research in question, and thus it involves incorporation of statistical tools, which are

key statistical tool to incorporate since different statistical tests are applied under varying

Inferential statistics employs the use of quantitative data thus focusing more on quantitative

research. Quantitative research involves significant issues where a study seeks to create an

understanding the various assumptions that have been developed in a given study. Thus, it involves

a cycle of successive phases of hypothesis formulation. Data collection, analysis, and interpretation

to prove the assumption that has been developed in a given study. Quantitative research thus is

more concerned with making predictions and test hypothesis that have already been stated (Jaggia

et.al, 2016).

The inferential data in this research is aimed at creating a better understanding of the

hypothesis that has been developed which reflect the study research question that is being

investigated. Therefore, the most important inferential statistical tests that will be incorporated will

include parametric tests since there exists prior information, which the study is aiming to approve

or disapprove. Thus, the best parametric statistical tests that will provide a better picture of the

hypothesis that is being considered in the study will be correlation and regression analysis. These

two statistical tests that work closely to provide significant information regarding the relation of

the variable are being investigated. It is also important to note that when using regression analysis

it is much easier to control the extraneous variables and thus be in a position to obtain true results

(Treiman, 2014).

The focus on both correlation and regression will provide a better understanding of the

variables that are being considered in the study. The study, therefore, aims at understanding the

relationship between the independent variables and the dependents variable, which is sales.

Therefore, correlation and regression will be able to provide a better environment where the

relationship between the dependent and independent variables can be based. Regression analysis

will be able to provide a significant model, which will include all the variables, and thus it will

provide a better environment where the company will be able to consider in seeking to understand

the future patterns in order to make better plans for the future, which will have positive engagement

(Jaggia et.al, 2016).

Conducting trend analysis is an important consideration in this case since it seeks at

creating a better environment where the company will be able to understand how certain variables

have been significantly influencing its sales. It will also be able to understand the future patterns

of the variable that are being considered to help the Auto Springs Manufacturing company to make

better decisions which can positively influence the performance of the company. Trend analysis,

therefore, can be achieved by considering the regression model which provides a better

understanding on how each of the variables that are being considered in this case influence sales.
