COLLECT eight (8) online current news articles from eight different news sources with no more than three being from the USA or any other single country, and directly involving at least three of the world's religious traditions. They cannot be exclusively referring to Christianity, for example. The subject of the article may be on anything as long as it includes a religious theme or sub-theme. For example, an election in the U.S. or elsewhere, which is primarily a political story, may have noteworthy significance for the church, or religious believers of that country…the article should spell that out; or, another example, a terrorist attack may have religious motives. The article itself should state the religious significance of the news item.

WRITE a two-page opinion paper based upon the articles. This paper will express your general assessment and opinion of the role of religion in the world, based upon your reading of the articles and the role of religion in those articles. DO NOT SIMPLY SUMMARIZE EACH ARTICLE.
Do not write eight paragraphs with eight opinions, one for each article. This paper is an analysis of the eight articles.

Introduction
Religion plays a fundamental role in the world. There are numerous religions in the world
with some been more dominant in given countries. The world’s largest religions include:
Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, and Muslim. However, these are not the only religions in the
world as the list is endless with different groups of people having differing religions (Patheos,
2010). Although these religions significantly differ from one another in their views, there is a
commonality among the religions: all the religion followers have strong faith in their religion and
are keen to fall all the religion teachings (Gifford, 2014). The believers also have a set of beliefs
that they follow and abide to. All these religions believe in the existence of a supernatural power
that is highly regarded and looked up to at all times.
There has been ongoing religion hostility among various religions in the world with each
religion perceiving it to be superior to the other religions. This religion hostility is more
prominent in some countries compared to others. In India, cases of vandalism have been on the
rise. Hindu extremists have vandalized many Christian areas as a revelation for Christian
