1) since the area A of a circle is gib├╣ven by the subsequent formula:

A = 3.14* R^2, where R is the radius, then I can write:

R =sqrt(  A/3.14 ) = sqrt(153.86/3.14) = 7 cm


2) Here please note that the length C of a circumference is given by the subsequent formula:

C = 2*3.14*R  where R is the radius of our circumference.

so we have:

R = diameter/2 = 18/2 = 9 cm

and the length C of our circumference, is:

C = 2*3.14*9= 56.52 cm
