Promoting Women in Entrepreneurship Act
The major implication of this law was to try and make the National Science Foundation
ensure the women who are its wings are not just solely focused on the laboratory work that they
are engaged in. the point is that the National Foundation Science was given the authority to
continue in a recruitment drive that sought to ensure that more women joined its wings and are
mentored to venture in the commercial world, rather than just lurk in the background of the
scientific world.
The bill was introduced into the Congress by Elizabeth Esty who is the Representative for
Connecticut's 5th congressional district. She belongs to the Democratic Party and has been
