Hello, I have read through your work which demonstrates a great knowledge of an ethical
dilemma. Furthermore, your article is detailed and thorough in recognizing ethical dilemmas and
methods of addressing these issues. When faced with ethical dilemmas, it is important to follow
the ethical codes outlined in ANA to ensure that patient health is not compromised. Furthermore,
the codes of ethics of nurses provide ways to navigate ethical dilemmas without hurting the
patient, their families, or other coworkers.
On your point on addressing your ethical dilemma, I would like to add that state laws or
public health laws may also offer a guideline on navigating ethical issues. According to Haahr
(2020), public health laws are put in place to ensure that the ethical issues experienced do not
affect the public's well-being. Therefore, public health laws also provide a road map to address
ethical dilemmas without affecting other people. Overall, your article is detailed, relevant, and
educative.
