accomplish objectives and goal in a workplace. However, communication concept classified into
various distinct form, and each form is necessary for their particular area of application within
the organization interaction. In this case, will illustrates five fundamental communication
concepts that are primarily important in every business setting (Johnson, 1994). Such comprises
of active listening, organization conflict resolution, the importance of organizational culture,
leadership strategies for effective communication as well as informal and formal communication.

Active listening
Active listening comes first in every effective communication in the workplace. It allows
individual or departments to communicate with each other. Therefore, for an effective
communication one ought to have the listening skill to understand and respond effectively.
Active listening requires an affected party to pay full attention to the interpersonal associates
communicating. Furthermore, its shows the commutating partner that people are valuing what
they are speaking about and also interested with their wording.



However, listening can be of two form. For instance, some individuals can only listen to
what their partners are talking about, and others pay attention to understand what their partners
are communicating. Therefore, the latter form of listening can classify as an active listening.
Since it allows the concerned party to communicate and understand the objective of that
particular communication contrary, there is a lack of communication (Arnold, 2014).
In context, to active listening is important to note that listeners should receive the
message and understand its objective, to achieve an effective form of communication. For that
reason, we can say, for active listening the listeners ought to take into consideration the sender
discussed subject perceptive and point of view. Additional, active listening should allow both
speaker and listeners fully and equally engaged in a serious conversation.
However, various approaches one consider as an active listener comprises are, for
instance, for an effective means of communication participant should maintain eye contact with
each other while communicating. It shows that the listeners try to understand the objective of the
