Introduction
The poem, “Hope” by Emily Bronte is about the process of losing hope. Emily Bronte
discusses the critical aspect of hope, which is not something a person can search or appeal to.
The narrator describes hope as fickle as well as abstract, and one that becomes very hard to find
especially as things go wrong. False hope is the main theme of the poem, “Hope”.
