REF: Immigration, Economy, Transgender bathrooms and Other social issues in Texas
Paragraph 1: There are several social public policies negatively affecting Texas state. They
include immigration, transgender bathrooms, the state economy, education law, legalization of
abortion, foster care gun licensing and legalization of Marijuana.
Paragraph 2: Schools, a fights over which bathrooms transgender people of Texas should use,
Immigration and no-longer-so-flush state coffers should be quickly debated by the law makers
because these are issues really touching the lives of many people living in Texas.
Paragraph 3: Research by the immigration unit have shown that Texas is among the leading state
in America in regard to receiving immigrants from other parts of America especially Mexico.
Paragraph 4: In addition, with Trump’s victory we are expecting that the two contentious
immigration initiatives that stalled in previous sessions will be approved.
Paragraph 5: Texas Supreme Court declared that the school finance system is constitutional
bringing to an end the legal fight that has been for a long time.
Paragraph 6: This have affected the lives of many people in Texas since most of are not able to
meet the educational financial requirement for their families and children.
Paragraph 7: In the recent past, president Obama gave a directive that allowed Transgender
students to use bathrooms of their own choice in public schools.
Paragraph 8: The economy of Texas and its counties have recently been depreciating because of
the fact that Oil prices have continued to stay so low.
Paragraph 9: The supreme court of the United States of America banned any action of abortion
after a woman is twenty weeks pregnant.
Paragraph 10: In 2015 parliamentary session, law makers allowed gun license holders to carry
handguns publicly and bring them onto college campuses.
