religious belief system. Are there practices within this faith that might be critiqued as unethical? How should we apply the

fundamentals of ethical reasoning in this case?

Introduction
Religious beliefs dictate most social groups, dominate their customs, inspire their
behavior, and can be handed down to most generations. Most beliefs affect the rules, rituals, and
taboos in the society. Nevertheless, these views are neither acceptable nor very wrong, but they
signify the social preferences. For instance, sin is a possible confusion between the theological
beliefs and the ethical values; subsequently, its punishment is placed as death. As a human being,
one should recognize the difference between theological beliefs and ethics to avoid the suffering
experienced under the religious intolerance.
