Michael is the quality assurance manager of an ice cream plant in the United States. The parent company has decided to

open several plants in Russia. A team of food scientists from the new plants being built in Russia have come to your plant

to learn how you run the lab in the plant and assure quality production of the ice cream. One of the scientists from Russia

has very traditional cultural views and refuses to work with a female member of your team, despite the fact that she is a

highly qualified food scientist and employee at your plant.

How would you handle this situation if you were Michael? Justify your best-practice in this decision-making situation.
