Introduction
Adolescence is the period of human development that marks the bridge between
childhood and adulthood. At this stage physical, emotional and psychological developments and
changes occur in the body of a child in preparation for assumption of responsibility and decision
making. Usually, personal identity also takes place at this stage. The changes that occur here be
it physical, physiological, psychological and even emotional are closely interrelated and are
majorly prevalent if not for few exceptions. The physical changes between boys and girls are
naturally different, and so are the physiological changes accompanying them. However, the
behavioral, psychological and emotional changes are mostly similar.

In males, the primary hormone responsible for adolescent development is the testosterone
